Thank you for being such an inspiration to me, and for your sagely advice. I still have very vivid memories of watching some of your films or ones that you worked on while I was growing up. My earliest memories of one of the films you worked on was watching Pete's Dragon when I was about 6 or so. It was that film and many of your earlier works, both while you were working with Disney and after you broke off to work with Gary and co. that laid the foundation for my love of cartoons and animation.

Again, thank you for all you've done, not just for me but countless other artists, animators, and animation enthusiasts. Bless you.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Bluth!! I hope its a special one. I cant thank you enough for all you have taught me even though I have yet found my way and show you what I can do. I just wanted to let you know how your work has inspired me. From watching Elliot fly to crying when Fivel found his papa to slapping quarter after quarter into the Dragon's Lair machine at the board walk in NJ, one summer in the early 80's, just to see the animation. All were and are some of the fondest memories of my youth and some of my favorite works in animation that I still am in 'aww' of all these years later. May the good Lord bless you on this day and many more ahead.
