Are you able to review what was talked about that day if you are not able to be there at the posted time or do you have to be watching it right when it is going on?

In the last workshop classes were live. You couldn't download or rewatch them if you missed them. However, some people had to miss one or two & the others kept records of roughly what was said & the reactions to their homework so they'd know how to continue. I'd strongly recommend attending all the lessons though!

The lessons are planned to be released on dvd for people to rewatch, but only sometime after the entire workshop period is finished.

Personally I made very crude videos by pointing a camcorder at my computer, so I could re-watch the lessons to pick up anything I missed when revising my homework. I also took notes whilst "at" classes. I'd recommend this to get the most from them & to learn quickly.

Yep, I definitely agree with Samuel,if you happen to be unable to attend one or two of the on-line workshop classes you could rely on the other participants to pass you notes or a brief summary of what has been taught that day and possible assignments for the upcoming week. If I'll make it to the Workshop, I'll be definitely glad to help you out with that...keep in mind however that one of the main features in this on-line workshop is the possibility to interact with Don directly: ask him questions about your work or ask him to clarify something he just explained or even request to draw on top of your drawings. If you miss the lecture you might get the notes back but on the other hand you'll end up missing the interactive opportunity; which, quite frankly, is what really helped me out a great deal with my animation during the last workshop.
