Need Help With Layouts and Backgrounds

1.if you have a copy of Don's Family Fun Edition of Anastasia go to the second disc you will find three arrows in the center click on the arrow pointing to the left and you should get the making of Anastasia then select The Research video segment and about 1 1/2 min. into its playing you'll get to Philip A. Cruden, when he puts the folder in front of him on the wall in front of him and the folder are four sheets of paper of a scene that has been drawn. Would this be painted this big for a background and do you know the size of the sheets or the combined size of the sheets that the scene was drawn on.

NOTE: I do have most of Mr. Bluth's films on DVD. I really enjoy the making of part of the Family Fun Edition and would like to know if there are any more of Mr. Bluth's films have been released as a Family Fun Edition.

2.If you have a copy of Platinum Edition of Pinocchio 70th Anniversary and go to the 2nd disc and go to backstage Disney then go to Pinocchio Art Galleries then go to Backgrounds and Layouts then go to page 2, middle row all three images. The first two images are in black and white they are in very strange shapes and would like to know what would they be used for. The third image is in color and it shows some cut off boxes from the left of the image large box to the right to a small box I take that to be a zoom into right camera angle but at the bottom of the art is not completed is this the way the background is supposed to be painted?

I appreciate your help in helping me in understanding what is going on from the questions I've asked.
Thank You
