Hello everybody, my name is Felice, and I'm currently an animation student in Tampa Florida. I suppose that just as the majority of people in this forum, Mr.Don Bluth's art has been instrumental in shaping my love affair with the Animation craft. I will be graduating pretty soon and probably seek a position as a 3d animator somewhere here in the states.... though whenever I get some free time I still manage to work on some (perhaps a bit too ambitious) 2d animation projects.....
Feel free to check out my website and write me some comments and critiques!

Good to meet you. What program did you use to do you models? Maya? Do you use it to animate as well?

Thank you Hana!...you have a very cool Avatar yourself!

You are correct loszhor, I use Maya to model and animate....I'm currently learning Zbrush as well.

I thought I recognized the rendering. I remember learning ZBrush, very interesting. I mainly use it to patch up texture seams now or make fancy normal/displacement maps now.

Just joined the forum as well.

I never worked directly with Don, but I worked as a P.A. in Burbank for the satellite studio "West Olive" on the tail end of "All Dogs Go to Heaven", "Rock-a-doodle". I did learn a great deal from that experience. I got to work with a great bunch of people and made some long lasting friends there.

I think that sometimes fancy schooling only helps you so far. After all you ended up winning the rhino competition because your drawing managed to stand out by its originality in the eyes of Mr.Bluth himself... on the other hand with my degree in painting from Italy and computer animation college in Tampa, where I've ended up placing myself in the same competition??.....hardly 3 votes in the poll runner up thinghy, so there you go!:laughing:
