Just had to put this out there cause Eric's one of my favorites. Brad Bird and Matt Groening will also receive this award at the Annies (http://www.annieawards.org/). Pretty cool. Here's a little vid of Eric showing how he works his timing sheet as he animates Louis. It's pretty educational.

Here's something I picked up on when I first saw Princess And The Frog. Did you ever notice Eric's homage to Mad Madam Mim from "Sword And The Stone" in this pose of Louis?

Thanks, I needed that Joe!

Anyone know what program/method Disney used for the breakdown of sound on Eric's exposure sheets? It breaks down the waveform of the audio into bars (on the left) and lines (to the right of the waveform). It looks like the frame numbers themselves have been written in (on the far right).

I assume the coloring application used by Maria Gonzalez in Featurette 2 is part of Toon Boom's Harmony or their Animate Pro product.

Concerning the award of Eric... what can be said except... well deserved recognition!

That is really cool! He is a well deserved candidate. I never noticed that Homage. That is neat to see. Thanks for posting!

Well since the Annie Awards were last night I did a fun drawing of the winners of the Windsor McKay awards. Brad Bird, Eric Goldberg, and Matt Groening are represented by Hogarth, Genie, and Bart. Congrats to everyone!
