Hi everyone, :)

I signed up about a month ago and thought I'd try to give an introduction.

My name is Josh Lokan and I'm currently living in Seattle Washington. I'm married, have three children, and I'm currently work as a 3D animator. I have a huge passion to for 2D, and my hope is to work at it and get better at the craft. That would be a dream come true for me!

I'm so happy to be here! Thank you to everyone who is involved in keeping this site up and running. I'm sure lots of work is involved so thank you all so much!

OK, see everyone online. Can't wait to meet you all!

My very best,

Josh

You're very lucky to be able to raise a family by doing a job you love.

Welcome! Glad to have you here and hope reach your goals! Good to see people in CG animation having a love for hand-drawn animation as well. Not sure if you know but there is an animation festival happening in Seattle this month called 2D Or Not 2D, which looks really neat. Take care and enjoy the forum!

Thank you everyone for such a warm welcome! I'm so excited to be be here and involved.

Many thanks to those who have already been a huge help!!! I'm still trying to get my 2D setup at home up and running. The last couple pieces I believe are a metronome and a scanner with feeder. Once I get things working, I promise to start showing some animation! "...animation....oh yeah, that..."

Thank you again for making me feel so welcome. If I can be of help to anyone please let me know. See you all online!

Best,

Josh
