The danger (and fun) in visiting David's blog is that I inevitably follow a topic he's posted only to realize.... many hours later... that I've been utterly swept away as I follow the links and research the topics in depth.

What else can be said except... Thanks! :)

Neat! I always liked these videos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHbA6lG79Eo), too. Shows very nicely how rough Keane approaches his scenes.

Those are amazing,i wonder though why is it when Don or Glen draw rough like that you can feel movement in every drawing. When I draw rough like that it just looks like scribbles...lol

I think the secret lies in the roughness. If you draw with kinetic energy it will permeate every drawing. I like poses which appear to be on the verge of motion, innately ready to "continue". Those tend to work best in the animated flow.

I love your Monkey King in motion http://jabberwocky.animationblogspot.com/2010/08/04/monkey-king/. I made a similar design for a t-shirt with a monkey in motion he he http://andreaswestin.blogspot.com/2010/09/monkey-t-shirt.html
