Hi! My name is DeAnna. I'm from pretty much all over the United States. I've been a fan of Don Bluth animation since I first saw Thumbelina when I was about four years old. :) It was partly because of his art that I got started drawing. I've been drawing for about a two years now and am still learning. I plan on majoring in Animation and am scouting around for a good college to go to, hopefully online cause I travel a lot. So yeah, um.... I love reading, if you couldn't tell by my username... I love to write, draw and learn new things. I'm hoping that I can gain some feedback on my art so that I can learn how to be a better artist.
I guess that's it! I'm really excited to read all the tips and tricks that are on here!!

Welcome to the club :) We hope to see you at next Wednesday's live animation seminar (http://donbluthanimation.com/_Don_Bluth_Animation_live_seminar.html) at 4pm Arizona time; where Don talks about the principles and techniques of traditional animation. There's good tips there for CG animators as well.

Just wanting to give you my warm wishes of welcome! I don't know of any online schools that will teach hand drawn animation other than here, but there are some great places online for CG. You could call this place a school since we have weekly seminars with Don Bluth and have awesome workshops every so often. Be sure to join up to get full access to all the wonderful things here! One thing I love about the forums is all the great people who will help you and give you support to improve as you learn animation. Best of luck and enjoy your stay here with us!
