I had just had the interview and it went good, was a nice lady who did the interview and I I got a peek at the comment she wrote about me :laughing: john is a very charming young man :D

I was so nervous :laughing:
but she liked my drawings a lot and they sure bought me some time, As soon as we started talking about animation it was like someone dumped gasoline on a candle, she liked my answer for (what do you believe your career choice is?):D

Thanks for the help dmgctrl , I put my rhino in it

I never had an exit interview in high school. (Graduated in 2001) Of course I attended a private school in HS, so that might have had an effect.

Good job on your interview, John! Glad to hear it went well. :}

Hey Regan

The school I want to be going to is capilano university commercial animation program:
(tranditional animation with a bit of flash and some 3D) The school is more about teaching the students without making them go bankrupt with only about 6000 in fees and payments,The school has a high success rate with students because of its partnership with studio B!- Ive been their many times during their open house events and The teachers their really enjoy hand drawn animation

Im still crossing my fingers hopeing I pass eng 12 though :D

Wow, its $6000 now? That's still pretty good but when I was looking at schools it cost $4000/year - $2000 per term. Still its by far the best deal you can get in Canada for an animation education. Is it still a 2 year program?

Unfortunately, unless you're Canadian, I guessing you won't receive the discounted tuition. Capilano is government funded so the rates are cheaper for Canadian citizens. Private colleges here are similar to your rates except the exchange rate has dropped back down to about 80 cents per US dollar. It'd still be a deal but I'm pretty sure you wouldn't like the winters as much :P

Out of all the open houses capilano by far was the most friendly school around the teachers their and the students were all really nice and seamed to be like a family, AI art institute of vancouver burnaby was horrible it was like a buisness tour and nothing else no students around just empty desks and framed artwork :(

Yeah, you're in a good place. I worked with some of the instructors and they're good guys. By the way, have you applied for the teletoon scholarship (http://www.teletoon.com/scholarship/)? That would pretty much pay for your education :P
