Lin's Art Dump {Criticism Very Much Appreciated!}

Hello there everyone! My name is Harley, and I just recently joined the forums here! (:
While normally I'm just more of the "lurker" type on forums, I thought it would be nice to have my own forum to constantly upload my artwork while I'm sorting out my blog, and get crits and ideas from everyone! As I hope to one day freelance in character design, as well as hopefully make my own movie, I think it'll do me some good to get outside opinions.

I consider myself fairly balanced between both digital and traditional media, though at this moment in time I primarily have digital pieces. I got my tablet five years ago (and it's still runnin' like a champ!), and since at the time digital was my weakest area, I've spent those years building up those skills. This summer I'll be shifting back to focus more on traditional artwork, since now I feel as though my skills with photoshop are more secure.

You'll also see a variety of styles in my artwork, because I don't like to keep myself bound to one. I feel as though it helps me stay loose with my artwork, as well as contribute to the expansion of my skills, and overall allows me to draw a larger amount of subjects with more ease, as well as adapt to the specific features of a single character. I make sure it's a style that I can easily go back to, however, in case a project calls for consistency.

I'll just post whatever here, from completed pictures to silly little doodles. c:
Just note that my sketches tend to be extremely loose, so anatomy doesn't really receive much attention.

Critiques are highly encouraged!

I've never used pastels before, but it certainly won't be my last; they immediately became one of my favorite traditional mediums C;

Hi Harley, I like that one of the I like that one of the colored in dog. interesting patterns. also that pastel drawing looks really good. The dragons are hard to see though, the second one all I can really make out is the face. Work on darkening your pencil lines.

Thanks for the comments Ben! Y'know it's funny, I used to have trouble making the lines TOO dark, haha. At least I fixed that - now it's just a matter of finding that spot in the middle, eh?
I took your advice and tried to go over the lines several times, though my webcam still made the pictures rather light, so I had to touch 'em up a bit in PS. Hopefully everyone can see them okay ):
