What are the little green things?

Under each person's location, there are some little green things. At first I thought those were reflective of post counts, but I think it must be something else.

And why are some bright green and others darker green?

Whatever they are, I want to get some more of them. :cool: Just to be cool. :D

Hmm, if you hold your mouse cursor over it, it gives you message, so I think it may be related to post count.

EDIT: maybe not exactly post count, the name of the green image is: reputation_pos.gif. So maybe it reflects your character, if you are bad or good.

EDIT: There's a icon of a justice scale next to the report post icon above the date and location. It seems to be an "add reputation" feature, which must effect the green icon. Maybe if someone reports you too much, it gets a darker green, possibly red, who knows.

Unless I took this post too literal and this was a ploy to get more of them :D

They are reputation marks. So if someone answered a questions or just posted something truthful and or accurate that you found good/helpful you can click the scale and give them one.

When I logged in earlier I had one too, for encouraging somebody in a different thread, and I had an 'aww ^^' moment. XD Wonder if it's a new feature or if we just never noticed it before now?

It has been around about a month. there was a thread (http://www.donbluthanimation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41&highlight=reputation) here along with a poll back in March that talked about the addition.
