Hi! I'm Todd Heard. I'm an independent artist. I design, illustrate and animate. I'm really looking forward to learning a lot from you guys. I know I have a ways to go with my animation. I've always loved Don Bluth's style of art. I used to play Dragon's Lair when it was in the Arcade. That should give you an idea of my age. My self-promo site is http://www.treefox.net

I love what you did with your site where the main character reacts to where the mouse cursor moves... the eyes especially which I think is going above and beyond and I associate with your work ethic... a great thing for an illustrator's site to convey. Nice touch.

If you gain Don Bluth's sense of classic animation... you'll be (competitively) untouchable. :)

Thanks Rodney, I got the ideas of the eyes following the cursor from another animator. I hope I can gain a better grasp of classical animation. It will probably be the hardest thing I've ever tried to master. In the past, I've always relied on the computer to fix my mistakes. But drawings on paper show everything, good and bad. Hopefully I can use both mediums to create something good. Thanks for checking out my site and for your comments. Todd
