Hey Guys,
For everyone participating in the Cyber Garage project and those are interested in following the progress I thought it might be fun to start sketching our protagonist, Sasha, so we can get more comfortable animating her. Here are some quick sketches! Let's all try to sketch a page a day to prepare for her walk cycle.
It will be easier once we get the model sheets but for now let's just have some fun!

Very good expressions, though I agree the yawning expressions seems the most well done.

I think it's more of the chub that some little kids have, not her being overweight

Day 3 Sketches. Wow even after having the model sheet, I'm drawing off model. I need to practice and study this character more!

Day 4 sketches. These are starting to feel better... :)
BTW, I'd just thought I note that I used Don's method of trying to visualize my pose and character attitude before I started drawing. I put down the pencil and closed my eyes and it worked out a lot better. Thanks Don! :-)

So I was sketching Sasha one day and suddenly this drawing came out. I laughed as I was drawing it. I know this isn't her character and she's too young to have this attitude but maybe this could be an older sister.
Inspired by Don's Daphne.

Those look really great! I love all the expressions! That one on the bottom cracks me up with the eyes being different shades. XD I also love that large one of her holding the angry carrot. XD
