As a writer/animator/overly ambitious re-imaginizer, I was particularly cheesed when "NIMH 2" came out. So I conceived what I thought would be a "true" NIMH sequel. Now, I more or less abandoned that project years ago, but for a while there I was trying to emulate the NIMH style. The best ( or most finished ) example would be this logo I made for the film. ( Please don't resent me for posting this, I have to think most of us have fantasized about doing a REAL sequel. )

An alternate title was going to be "The Power of Nimh" I never got past the halfway point on the script. *shrug* Oh well.

I think the header of your topic is too shouting fore the single picture of logo design.

A good looking graphic though...

looks awesome. I love the brightness of the logo's yellows/golds and just how solid the letters themselves look, like you could pick it up :D

Back in college a friend of mine at the time was contributing to a little group published furry magazine called "Row'r Brazzle". One of the other contributers had a serialized sequel to NIMH story featuring a grown up, trench coat wearing, Timothy Frisby (heh- :) ) I still wonder how that one turned out.

Wait, there's a sequel? I had no idea... Looks like you have some interesting ideas and I'd like to see more if you're not too busy at work :)

>:P~~~ "Pffft!"
Miss Mouse (as the crow would say) has always been miss-named in the movie (to my mind). As soon as I had heard about Bluth starting on NIMH I tracked down the book it was based on. I really do not recall which name was used in Timothy's story.

Yes, I know why you call it the "F-word". :)

It was just a whim, really. I mean, it'd be great to have a WORTHY sequel to one of the best animated films of all time. That was my reasoning behind it. I suppose I could finish the script at some point.

Do you still have some of the other stuff then? Lets see it!

LOL. Nothing worth showing. I was more interested in making a good script. We already had the original film in terms of art.

A wonderful title job, says I. Well done!
