Hello.
My name is Ashley and I am a Freshman at the University of Southern California. I am majoring in animation and hoping to minor in something in fine arts (game art or drawing) or creative writing. I want to focus on storyboarding and character art, but so far in my classes we are working very abstractly. I really love telling stories through art.
I want to see animation expand into more serious stories and move back to 2-D features. I'm very disappointed in the animated television series right now. I really believe animation is a medium not a genre.
I have always loved the animated features of Don Bluth, especially Anastasia. I love the constant moment of the characters. I was so excited that this site exists!
