Alrighty, I plan on entering this post-haste. If the aforementioned Rhino is a bully, may we include one or more characters to help convey this? Or is it to be just the Rhino itself?

....would like you to draw a rhino. Now, this rhino is a bully. This rhino may be wearing clothes, or not.

Thats what the man said.

Is Don looking for some good drawing or a fully colored picture?

I'm trying to find that out right now. Should have an answer soon.

Ok, no colour. Just a pencil drawing.

So, still not sure about the answer to Kattak's question above. We can draw other character (characters) to interact with the Rhino to convey that he is a bully or no, only the Rhino by himself must convey the bully message.

Thanks, John

Sorry guys. Its just the rhino, no other characters.

I'm guessing it'd show more skill to be able to convey a bully-ish image without having to include other characters.

Thats probably exactly what Don is thinking!

I do have one question that may or may not have already been answered.

I understand that he/she needs to have a human-like personality due to the "bully" trait.

However, does the character have to be humanoid? Or can it retain its original physical appearance?

....would like to see all forum members work. He would like you to draw a rhino. Now, this rhino is a bully. This rhino may be wearing clothes, or not. It is to be a pencil drawing, without colour.

That's all we've got to go on. What would you think he would be looking for?

I suppose I will do just that then; draw a rhino bully! Hahaha. We will see what comes of it! :)

Think of it like this... You're a chef in a cooking competition. You have a list with a few ingredients to work with. Make a dish that you think will set you apart from the your competitors. Visualize your finished product then start cooking.
It seems so simple yet the task can be daunting. Use emotional recall and visualize a person you may know that fits the "bully" profile. Use those feelings you have for the "bully" and incorporate them into your drawing. If the emotion is right, you will feel it all the way through the lead on the pencil as you draw. It's not unlike an actor preparing for a scene.

Does it have to be a pencil drawing or can it be a digital sketch?

Jeni, it has to be a Rhino, a bully Rhino; no color, no other characters. Whatever medium you choose to get you there is up to you.
Good luck...

I noticed in alot of don bluths sketches he will have a really small character like a mouse.

The a couple sketches I like have a mouse in them but its really small and without it the sketch wouldnt work :)

so would Don Bluth mind if i submitted one with a mouse thats really small?
