Nic Cage as the Sorcerer in Jerry Bruckheimer’s live-action version of Disney’s “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.”
Wow, he looks funny!!! What else are they going to do live action... I guess when it comes to original story telling this day in age all we get is garbage like Twilight. All the creative people I believe are on the net.

One of the best animated shorts ever, and someone dressing up like the Sorceror? So wrong.
What is this? D8 I'm horrified.

I heard about this! I wasn't sure if it was true or not. D: It sounds and so far looks absolutely terrible.

This was on the news last week after filming for a high speed chase ended in an accident.

I don't know why, but the guy hit by the lamp post, he seems to be running towards it as it falls, and appears to land right in front of him, just as he steps over it. Look at 1:28 in HD. Was he looking for a quick way to sue, or just didn't notice it falling?

On another page on the site I came across this..
I doubt I could make up something as good as this even on April Fool’s. On Monday, Disney announced that they’re producing “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” as a live-action feature starring Nicholas Cage as the Sorcerer. To be clear, the film is based on Johann Wolfgang Goethe’s original poem, not the Mickey Mouse sequence in Fantasia. From the Hollywood Reporter: “‘Sorcerer’ is being envisioned as a tentpole fantasy adventure set in contemporary New York, where a powerful sorcerer is in need of an apprentice. While not based on a ride like the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ films, the in-development project continues Disney’s trend of reimagining classic Disney titles as live-action, event pictures.”
Having read that.. I think it doesn't have anything to do with the animated short, but either way it doesn't sound too good in my opinion..
