Aha! Now YOU are the one who made this film!
I saw a part of your unfinished film 'Lady ice' one or two years ago on youtube and I really wished to see the final film. It is AMAZING! Your work is unbelievable good ;) When I saw it I was inspired. What a luck that I meet you on this forum.
Shalom to another person who's crazy about animation :D

Bravo!... this is really quite an accomplishment! the animation is really well executed, nice fluid motions... Design wise it reminds me of Disney's Little Mermaid or Beauty & the Beast, it sure has a certain early Disney-Cal Arts feel to it.
I sure would like to offer you some constructive criticism on your film.....but until I'll force myself to get off my procrastinating behind and crank up a project that equally requires the same amount of time and effort you've invested in your movie, well, I really feel that I have no place in blabbing my mouth with pointers to you...:laughing:
Cheers, and good luck if you have a next project lined up...

Thank you.

Afraid to say but I can't bring the second thread back. Not sure but I think this was one of the links:

I understand the confusion and that you have a desire to help others by answering questions but it might be better to have all your content in one place. Sorry for deleting your links and if you can help me repost them here, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Yes. but one content belongs to one category and the other to another. (yay, it rhyms).
so now when people go to tutorials they won't see my article (and I put a lot of time an hard work on it) and no one would think of looking for tutorials in here....
should I post my article in tutorials again????
(all in good spirit :-) )

Since the topic of your post in the gallery section is Lady Ice - 2d animated short finished, this suggests to me that everything you post here will be related to your short film. This is the section to showcase and promote your work. Since you make a beautiful film, people will want to know how you made it. You are welcome to update this thread as often as you want with new information or drawings. Patrick (or Lord Dirk) has done a similar thing to share his knowledge from working at the Disney internship:

My advice is to post everything related to your film here, and update it as often as you like. The gallery section gets the most views for updated work: http://donbluthanimation.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=15

But the title of the other post was "A HUGE article about how I create my 2D Animations" (good thing I kept a copy). I just put a link to the movie cause the article is mostly based on my work on that movie, so people will understand the connection.

oh... I give up... I have the link on the movies info as well, people will just have to see it from there....

Well done, Liron! I know from experience that it is a HUGE accomplishment just to finish a film--especially on your own--but you not only completed your project but also delivered a beautiful, coherent film that is very enjoyable. You can't hear me over the internet, but I'm giving you a standing ovation! :-)

I have no idea whether this will lead to a job at Disney for you. From a purely selfish standpoint, I'm kind of hoping that you will continue to make independent short films, regardless of where you work. I want to see more! However, I recognize that you have goals and dreams, and I hope you will achieve them. Good luck!

Awesome job Liron,
When you mention 5.5 years to make, it sounds like a loooong time. When I saw the amount of work you put in I am actually amazed it did not take you longer! Thanks for sharing!

Your film is really wonderful. I know how long these things take because I've been working on a short film for a year and half now. So well done for seeing it through to the end after 5 and a half years. I remember seeing clips of this on youtube years back. You animation skills are very impressive and I love the music. But I have one piece of advice. If you are trying to sell the film why put it on the website for free? It doesn't make any sense to me. In this online world of piracy it's hard enough to get people to buy something. I'm glad that you are generous enough to share this with us and I think it's a beautiful film. You deserve a reward for your hard work and people should buy it. But you are reducing your chances of making money by offering it up for free. Sadly you can't rely on other peoples generosity to make money. But I also know that you did all of this for the passion of creation and to share something beautiful and wonderful with the animation community and you definitely did that.

Congratulations on the film, it's fantastic and good luck for the future :)
