I recently purchased Don's DVD "Getting the Feeling." Since he recommends looking over his shoulder and following along when starting out (monkey see, monkey do) that's what I did. Naturally, I chose to follow along to his drawing of Daphne. One thing I liked about this picture was that you couldn't see her hands (I really need to work on hands). While I obviously still have a long way to go, I was pleasantly surprised with how this picture turned out. I got a lot closer to Don's picture than I thought I would.

Thanks John. My eraser certainly got quite a workout.

I'll have to wait until next next week lavellelee. I took a nap, and ended up missing the seminar, lol.

Good first attempt! I find it's really helpful if you compare the original drawing to your sketch in photoshop if you can. Just overlay the drawings and note the differences. Good start and nice to see you posting some work!
