The Equalizer is...
... a great show about an old... ish ex-"agency" operative who, after quitting, decides to help ordinary people mostly free of charge. He does this because he wants to redeem his past, which has been full of lies and murder. The main guy Robert McCall was played by the late Edward Woodward and the music was done by Stewart Copeland.
This show finally got the much needed attention, in the form of Complete Season 1 DVD set. Released on US and UK, the PAL version is superior, since it is uncut and unedited. Americans like to edit, don't they? After all, US is the "freest" country of them all!
